The Hamam

Le Kalon Spa is proud to present its authentic marble "Hamam", a rare and opulent feature in hotels. Based on ancient cleansing rituals, guests sit within this steamy environment, whilst their muscles are warmed and their skin softens in preparation for the "ceser" with a Turkish Mitt carried out on the "marble" table within the Hamam. The Turkish have been taking regular water and massage treatments to alleviate the stress and strains of everyday life. The Hamam has played a special part in this process with its therapeutic benefits through heat.

The use of the Hamam is by appointment only and can be used for Exclusive and Mixed sessions. All appointments are subject to availability. Prices and availability can be obtained by contacting Le Kalon Spa on 020 7244 5555.

We offer a selection of Hamam packages all with the aim of distressing, cleansing and then rejuvenating.

Hamam Le Kalon

A traditional Hamam experience with exfoliation and treatment using Turkish black olive soap and essential oils, done with a traditional goat's hair Hamam glove and Ghassoul or thermal clay mask. Guests then enjoy a refreshing rinse on completion.

Oriental Hamam

Experience a blend of the Far East combine with a North African tradition. The treatment starts with an Oriental food washing ceremony in a bath of rose petals and essential oils. You then proceed to the Hamam for a desert sands exfoliating scrub with orange flower water oils and thermal Moroccan Clay Mask. Guests then enjoy a refreshing rinse on completion.

Combination Hamam

You get to enjoy the Hamam Le Kalon experience with an additional half hour of relaxation massage and refreshing rinse on completion.
